William Smittle

Will grew up around the game of golf and is a second-generation teaching professional. For the past three years Will has worked as a full time Instructor at Anchor Golf Center in Whippany, NJ. There he was able to work with golfers of all experience and abilities developing his skills as an instructor.

Whether it be full swing, short game, or putting, Will continues his education to help better his students and has learned from some of the best instructors in the country. He is a member of the Skilled Coaching Alliance, and is certified in several putting technologies.

Will believes that golf is meant to be fun and getting you to a level where you are enjoying yourself is the ultimate goal. This process begins in the first lesson where your current game is analyzed and goals are determined.

Will is originally from Westchester, NY and previously played for four seasons at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He also holds two course records, 64 at Scarsdale Golf Club and a competitive round 65 at The Powelton Club.
